Being a District Manager with Aldi has given me an unique opportunity where I am ultimately responsible for every aspect of the 5 stores in my district. I oversee each of my stores\' key performance indicators, store conditions, FDA compliance, quality control procedures, inventory practices, cash handling, sales forecasting, customer trends, project rollouts and cash handling accuracy. As a District Manager I am accountable for the financial performance of my district that generates millions of dollars worth of business. Although this aspect is extremely vital, there is another area that I oversee that is equally as important: personnel. I am involved in my store\'s hiring, training, development, promotions, disciplinary action and monitoring the overall well being of each staff member. We pride ourselves in having a strong culture in our stores and that starts with making sure the people in my district are taken care. Fairness, respect, positivity and teamwork are what we strive for in order to prevent turnover and provide an amazing atmosphere for our team members to work in. This leads to not only satisfied employees but happy customers. Ultimately, my job is to support each of my Store Managers and their staff in whatever they need in order to provide the best customer service possible. My team and I are willing to do whatever it takes to achieve success in the extremely competitive market Aldi is in and will continue to adapt to the most effective and efficient way to achieve our goals.
