About Aj Walters
When I was a kid, I dreamed of being a paleontologist. It wasn\'t until I read Michael Crichton\'s Jurassic Park that I realized I was more interested in the genetic work of Dr. Henry Wu than Dr. Alan Grant\'s paleontology. Mantra = Life Will Find A Way. PhD from Rice University in Bioengineering, studying engineered cell and cell-derived therapies. Still inspired by the biology of nature, I research the genetic manipulation of DNA and biological systems to solve real-world problems in medicine, energy, agriculture, consumer products, and space.
