I was blessed to receive a full-ride scholarship to play football at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I was a 4 year letter winner and started 3.5 years. I became a team captain my senior year, and was honored with the Coaches Appreciation Award after my senior season. During the LAST REGULAR SEASON GAME IN MY SENIOR YEAR, I tore my Achilles tendon! Although devastated, I persevered through rehab, finished my degree, and worked our with multiple NFL teams even though nothing every came into fruition.But I pivoted.Since then, I\'ve trained and coached football players, been a freelance videographer and photographer, and taught at my alma mater, Rockhurst High School. I\'ve created, bought, and sold copies of my own card game \"Bankrupt: Don\'t Take it Personal, It\'s Just Business\", and have been in sales for a website development company and an energy efficiency company. I found my dream job at Commerce Bank where my role focuses on building relationships with business owners and helping them make financially smart (and wise) decisions. We also have some products to increase cash flow but we can talk about that later;)If you\'re still reading, I\'d like you to know that I am passionate about business because I come from a family of hustlers. I am a hustler myself, but I want more for my kids. I want to open a \"door of knowledge\" that can never be shut because after all, knowledge is power and wisdom is freedom!
