ABOUT AJ KURZMAN

I have been in exactly 32 math classes in my life. Whether it be geometry, analysis or even statistics, the number one question was always this -\"How is this going to apply to my actual everyday life?\"Literally speaking, you may never use the fundamental theorem of calculus to help you cook dinner, or utilize Fibonacci\'s sequence to help you decide which career path to choose or which relationship to work on, but this isn\'t what math is truly about. Math is about utilizing evidence and process to solve problems, and there is no bigger or more complex problem than life itself. Throughout my lifetime, I have done my best to integrate my passion for logical thinking into my everyday decision making. Any overwhelming situation I\'ve been through, whether it be applying to college or even creating my LinkedIn profile, has boiled down to just a simple sequence of problems. So, I get to work, solving one after another, until I finally reach the solution. It\'s this mathematical approach to life that I feel has me prepared to tackle any challenge this world is able to throw at me.
