I’m AJ, co-founder of UPRISING. I’ve been in the automotive industry for six years, but my love for cars started long before that. When I discovered vehicle enhancements. Specifically car wrapping. It instantly clicked. It was the perfect mix of what drives me, hands on work, creativity, and American muscle.At UPRISING, I wear a lot of hats. As Chief Operations & Strategy Officer + Head of Brand & Growth, I lead our business and brand but I’m also in the garage every day, side by side with my business partner. Every wrap, every install we’re both in it.While we love transforming cars, UPRISING is about more than the builds. It’s a platform to shift the culture of automotive creating space for people to show up as they are and be seen for what they truly bring to the table. We never planned to build a business, but once we saw how much space there was for change, we knew we had something to offer.We’ve experienced the stereotypes firsthand about who lifts, who designs, who leads. But skill has nothing to do with assumptions. My business partner is incredibly detail driven and creative. I thrive on physical challenges and problem solving. That kind of balance is exactly what we’re building. This is a space where people are valued for their mindset, work ethic, and passion regardless of gender, age, or background. If you\'re ready to learn and show up, we see you. That goes for our clients and anyone who wants to feel apart of the car culture and community too!Looking ahead, I’m excited to expand UPRISING through hands on training, self reliance education, and mindset development programs designed to build real world confidence and skill.
