ABOUT ANGIE JACKSON

Angie Jackson brings over 25 years of experience in technical recruitment, providing targeted search services to the Public Sector, as well as the IT Solutions, Software, Aerospace and Telecom sectors. She relocated to Victoria with CGI in 2015 and now leads the Talent Acquisition team for the western business unit.As a Project Manager in the recruiting industry, she has played a key role in large scale international recruitment projects. She has led corporate and staffing agency IT recruitment teams. Angie began her recruitment career in Executive and Technical Search in 1996. She was engaged by Manpower Professional in as a Senior Technical recruiter, working with major National accounts and was recruited by Computer Horizons Canada in 2002, to service local and corporate clients for the IT staffing division. She later moved to Computer Horizons’ Montreal Solutions center, where she led the corporate recruiting team for 2 years before moving into Project Management. In late 2007 she was persuaded to return to Manpower Professional to manage the Montreal and Ottawa locations.After 2 years in a recruiting management role Angie joined CGI Canada as a Workforce Manager, on the Workforce Planning team and supported 4 Business Units in Central Canada during her 7 year tenure, until accepting a transfer to Western Canada and a return to IT recruitment.
