I am a socially engaged researcher specializing in gender, culture, and decoloniality. Born and raised in Kazakhstan, I completed my MA in Gender Studies at Central European University and my MA in Sociology at Rutgers University. I specialize in qualitative research methods and have served as an Official Member of the Experts of Gender-Related Issues roster for the OSCE office in Kazakhstan and as a Contributor to the World Bank\'s \"Women, Business, and Law\" 2020 and 2021 reports. My work has been published in openDemocracy, East European Politics, Contemporary Security Policy, and Gender a vyzkum. I currently reside in New York and work as a research consultant, while pursuing my Ph.D. in Sociology at Rutgers.
