ABOUT AISSATA DIALLO
Hi! I am a Computer Engineering undergraduate at Syracuse University focused on intelligent systems, AI, and building responsible technology. I am interested in how engineering and ethics intersect and in designing systems that are technically are both strong and actively address gaps in access and impact. My academic work centers on computing systems and emerging technologies, with a growing focus on how data-driven tools shape real communities. I want to build technology that is thoughtful, accountable, and grounded in real-world needs.Beyond the classroom, I am a member of the Syracuse University chapter of the Society of Women Engineers, where I engage with a community committed to supporting and advancing women in technical fields. I also serve as the Public Relations Chair for CuseHacks, leading outreach and communications efforts to connect students, sponsors, and the broader tech community. In this role, I focus on strengthening partnerships and increasing access to technical opportunities on campus.Long term, I hope to work in AI and technology development where I can contribute to building systems that are not only efficient and scalable, but also equitable and intentional by design.
