WORK HISTORY
Digital Mock-up Engineer @Alpine Formula One Team
Responsible for raising the level of engineering quality throughout the company, from concept stage to execution. Identify, highlight and implement efficiency improvements to ensure performance is the primary focus of the design office.• Develop standard operating procedures across design, build and race team, with work established throughout the business.• Enable seamless integration of components through facilitation of the Digital Mock-Up environment. Ensure the car is performant without reliability compromises by promoting collaboration between stakeholders across engineering, aerodynamics and build.• 1 of 4 Reliability Engineers covering the first A525 build, attending Bahrain Testing trackside: Prepared pre-season documentation to enable a proactive approach to FIA legality checks. As a result, invited to support supplementary legality testing undertaken at the FIA’s Garage in Bahrain. Managed jobs-lists to correctly prioritise work; balanced run-plan preparation and Leica legality checking with design/aero test requests and any reliability mitigations/containments required. Observed status of the car between runs while in the garage, documented any Faults and oversaw necessary actions required to continue running, communicating these to the factory in a timely manner whilst maintaining as much detail as possible. As a result of observations from testing, formally defined a Fault process flow in conjunction with the travelling Reliability Engineers to clarify primary stakeholders in a fault and streamline initial investigations to enable curative action definition in a shorter timescale.• Identify and report performance risks through DMU reviews and fault analysis, applying right-first-time methodology to ensure accurate issue resolution at key integration stages. Utilise design engineering knowledge to evaluate cross-system impacts and classify issues by failure mode, severity and likelihood, enabling targeted mitigation strategies.
