   Review contract documents and understand MWDBE regulations; Update Estimating Department on regulations and job specific requirements• Maintain a thorough understanding of minority and diversity compliance laws and regulations at federal, state and local levels to be the “go-to” person for all MWDBE questions• Develop list of certified MWDBE firms from the proper database based off of scopes of work with opportunity for pre-bid and buyout phases• Meet with Lead Estimators to go over MWDBE selection during pre-bid phase• Advertise, outreach, solicit, etc. according to contract requirements• Maintain/document all communications with MWDBE community during pre-bid and buyout phase; support Estimating department in documenting good faith efforts, specifically GFE Log, MWDBE schedule, and execution of plan during both pre-bid and buyout phase• Assist in Division 1 Buyouts; solicit certified MWDBEs, review scope with firms, collect quotes, prepare contract, select best bid, and see through the contracts process• Stay up-to-date with all industry outreach events; attend, prepare good faith efforts, and arrange attendees with VP of Estimating; Coordinate and plan job specific outreach events• Point of contact between estimators and MWDBE firms by conducting preliminary subcontractor interviews to identify potential business opportunities• Assist the MWDBE Community in developing stronger businesses through MWDBE certifications, bonding education courses, and other development programs• Prepare marketing material for events; promotional items, Skanska pamphlets, bidding opportunities, etc.• Update Estimating and Marketing Senior Management on project specific requirements during pre-construction phase• Public Outreach Manager on three (3) major projects in NYC
