About Aisling Kerins
I like to lead causes and campaigns that advance social change. For almost a decade, I helped lead work to pass progressive revenue in Washington state, and was part of the team behind SEIU 775’s groundbreaking effort to pass the first in the nation long term care benefit. I\'ve led campaigns to defeat regressive tax and land use initiatives at the ballot, and ran MoveOn’s nationally acclaimed GOTV program in 2008, turning out one million volunteers for soon-to-be-elected President Obama. In 2012, I helped elect Governor Inslee and served as the director of external affairs in his first administration, helping lead efforts to pass the greenest transportation package in the country and leading-edge climate policy. I went on to run his successful re-election campaign in 2016 and his presidential campaign in 2020. I\'ve also served as an advisor to the Democratic Governors Association, working to re-elect incumbent governors across the country.
