About Aishwary Kaushal

I design buildings that still work when things go wrong. I started in architecture, but over time I found myself drawn toward fire and life safety. Somewhere along the way, it became clear that design only really matters if it performs under pressure. My work today sits between ideas and reality, connecting ambitious design with the physics of safety, code requirements and how people actually behave in real situations. Because if a space looks great but fails in an emergency, it didn’t really work to begin with. I operate at the intersection of architecture, engineering and risk, helping teams build environments that are not just impressive, but resilient and practical at scale. Most inefficiencies in the AEC industry are structural and invisible. I enjoy finding them and fixing them. I also spend time mentoring students and young professionals. Good judgement doesn’t come from experience alone, it grows faster when it’s shared. Outside work, I travel, eat aggressively and stay curious. Cities, food and culture are systems too and they often teach you more than textbooks do. If you’re working on something complex and want it to actually hold up in the real world, we’ll probably get along.
