Designed and implemented a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot that enables users to query content from YouTube playlists. The system extracts video transcripts using Whisper, embeds the content into a vector database, and retrieves relevant segments to answer user queries using a large language model. Unlike traditional chatbots, this solution ensures responses are strictly grounded in the playlist content, similar to how ChatPDF operates for documents. Built using tools like Youtube-Transcript-API, yt-dlp, Whisper, FAISS, and OpenAI/HuggingFace APIs.
