Dr. Aishwarya Dhara is an accomplished academic, edupreneur, and researcher, currently serving as Assistant Professor (SG), and as the Founder of Academy Innova World. With over 11 years of dedicated service in the aerospace domain, she has established herself as a dynamic force in education, research, and innovation.She is the author of three influential books—Essence of Aerospace Engineering, Aircraft Design Guidebook for Freshmen, and Overview of Aeromodelling—which continue to guide and inspire budding engineers. Her excellence has been honored through several recognitions, including the Kalpana Chawla Award and the Best Teacher Award, reflecting her commitment to advancing aerospace education.Dr. Dhara’s research stands at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and aerospace vehicle design. Her work focuses on applying AI/ML to aircraft, UAV, and rocket thrust chamber design, supported by strong foundations in Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM). Her Ph.D. thesis explored machine learning–based design optimization for wide-body aircraft, a theme that continues to shape her current work. She has published extensively in reputed international journals and successfully led a seed-funded project on drag prediction modeling.A recognized ATAL Innovation Mission Mentor of Change, Dr. Dhara actively nurtures student innovators and early-stage entrepreneurs. She also plays key roles in several professional bodies, serving as a principal assessor and member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a Technical Member of the Universal Association of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineers, and a member of IAENG and the Society of Aeronautical Engineers. Her passion for innovation led her to attempt a Guinness World Record in 2019 for creating the world’s largest water rocket.Beyond her academic and research pursuits, Dr. Dhara is a sought-after speaker who has delivered numerous guest lectures, inspiring students through her experiences and vision.
