ABOUT AISHWARYA SINGH
I’ve worked on a range of infrastructure projects across British Columbia, including gas main projects with FortisBC, capital upgrades at Burnaby’s Waste-to-Energy Facility, and the Vancouver Airport Fuel Delivery Project. My experience spans project coordination, cost and schedule management, and multidisciplinary collaboration, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on budget. In my role with FortisBC, I supported the planning and execution of gas distribution projects throughout the Lower Mainland. I managed project controls, coordinated with contractors, and ensured all deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.I graduated with a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from The University of British Columbia in 2020, where I focused on Project and Construction Management. I worked on several academic projects that involved BIM modelling, financial modelling, and productivity analysis, developing strong analytical abilities and industry-relevant knowledge. I also led my team to first place in the ASCE national concrete canoe competition, an experience that showcased my creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities. I am eager to learn more and gain practical experience in the civil engineering field.
