As the Deputy Manager - Sustainability at JSW Cement Limited, I spearhead our emissions management and sustainability reporting initiatives, ensuring alignment with SEBI guidelines and international standards such as ISO-14064 and My engineering background, honed at IIT Kanpur where I was a batch topper and recipient of the Academic Excellence Award, equips me with a robust foundation and confidence in data management within the realm of sustainable business practices.I am adept at generating Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) using the GCCA Concrete EPD tool, providing critical insights into the carbon footprint of our products. My role encompasses overseeing CDP disclosures and conducting comprehensive stakeholder engagement through Double Materiality Assessments and Value Chain Assessments.From an investor\'s perspective, I manage our organization\'s DJSI and other ESG ratings, ensuring transparency and robust reporting. I lead the piloting of Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) technologies at our manufacturing units, supported by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, as part of our Net Zero goals.As an active member of the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), I contribute to policy reviews and industry positioning. I also oversee Green Building and Green Certifications for all our products, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and solidifying our position as a leader in sustainable cement production

   I look after Scope 1, 2 and 3 emission reporting and Sustainability Reporting. I am also working on EPD report generation of all the cement types using the GCCA Concrete EPD tool. I look after the CDP climate reporting and DJSI and other ESG ratings. I have also started with SBTi validation and Double Materiality Asessment of all.our stakeholders Have lead Human Rights Assessment at one of our unit.I am also very deeply working on the new technology of CCUS. I work with GCCA in policy review and understanding the position of cement industry I am closely working with the green building certification and green certification of our cements
