Responsible for the ongoing implementation of KEIs environmental management system in accordance with ISO14001:2015; implementation and maintenance of the sustainability program; ensuring Emergency Response Plan remains up-to-date as per regulatory requirements; adhering to plant quality procedures in assigned job to meet customer specific requirements.• Responsible for the completion of Environmental Reports (e.g, E2 Plans, GHG reports); assisting with amendments of KEIs Environmental Compliance Approvals; completion and distribution of KEIs Annual Waste Audit; maintenance of the Hazardous Waste Management program (i.e. permit renewals, updating Permit Work Order sheets, and tracking in accordance with regulatory requirements; maintaining Environmental Services databases (i.e. equipment lists, maintenance and operations manuals, drawings, PM records and records of analysis)• Provide leadership for external audit engagement as assigned and be accountable to ensure that results adhere to audit standards; support to the Emergency Response Team Coordinator as requested. Ensure Emergency Response Team documentation meets compliance requirements. Comply with all management systems to which KEI subscribes (ex. Quality and Environmental systems).• Understand international regulatory requirements such as REACH, Prop. 65, EU frameworks, Conflict Minerals and TSCA such that Customer Compliance Declarations can be submitted in a timely manner; current and pending environmental legislation related to KEIs environmental activities and processes to ensure KEIs ongoing compliance obligations are being met.• Support the Manager of Environmental Services in accordance with the requirements of the Metal Finisher’s Industry Standards. Work effectively with outside resources, consultants and agencies to address ongoing and/or future regulatory requirements. Participate on Govt. committees such as the NPRI and O.Reg. 419/05 Air Quality working groups.
