My passion for intellectual property and trade law led me to pursue a Master of Laws degree at Christ University, Bangalore. I have acquired multiple certifications from the World Intellectual Property Organization on using patent information and the Patent Cooperation Treaty, demonstrating my expertise and interest in this domain. As a recent intern at the Sikkim State Human Rights Commission, I applied my legal skills and knowledge to support investigations and inquiries on human rights issues, relevant laws, and international human rights standards. I also gained exposure to adjudicating human rights cases, and presented a research synopsis to the commission, showcasing my analytical and communication skills. Previously, I worked as a legal intern at Mimansa Legal, Chambers of Sanjay Kumar Dubey, Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, where I assisted in drafting briefs, attending court proceedings, and maintaining case files. I also volunteered at CRY - Child Rights and You, where I created short stories and visual-audio activities for children, and participated in community engagement initiatives. I am motivated by the opportunity to use my legal skills and knowledge to protect and promote human rights, and to learn from experienced professionals in the field. I believe I can bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as well as a passion for learning and innovation.
