Accomplishments: Successfully led the Organizations’ preparation for Monkeypox testing at the Burlington location and working with local health agencies to secure vaccinations for technicians conducting the testing. Successfully assisted with the creation of a BSL3-Architectural Checklist that covers the BMBL to be followed for all BSL3 lab designs and construction across the LabCorp Corporation.• Conducts detailed quarterly safety audits in laboratory spaces, identifying potential hazards and successfully aids in the abatement of the hazards identified. • Serves as a valuable resource to departmental safety representatives. • Prepares extensive reports for the Quality Team detailing trends and implements improvement plans to reduce risks. • Facilitates new employee safety training, ensuring new employees are aware of the safety precautions to employ with each exposure they may encounter.
