ABOUT AISH MANN

I’m a sustainability strategist, storyteller, and community-builder based on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples (Vancouver, Canada) I founded and lead the Tanah Air Project, a newcomer-led climate initiative reframing immigration as a climate issue and positioning belonging as a foundational climate solution. Our work focuses on three key streams: • Newcomer climate capacity-building • A proposed Green Stream immigration pathway • Storytelling that centers immigrant-Indigenous solidarity I\'m also an Abundance Foundation Fellow, building this work with the support of a curated mentorship network and systems change leaders from around the world. Previously, I served as the Programs & Marketing Coordinator at Leading Change, and currently support as Development & Impact Director at Threading Change. Through these roles, I’ve led national and global youth climate initiatives, developed impactful programs, and championed inclusive climate leadership rooted in justice. My work is guided by questions like: • What does it mean to be an immigrant on stolen land? • What are our treaty and reconciliation responsibilities as newcomers? • How do we build belonging without perpetuating colonial systems?
