About Eric Mueller

I graduated from the College of Santa Fe (CSF) in May 2007 with a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and Film. While at CSF, I focused primarily on the post production side of film making and engaged in a number of student projects and productions in various crew roles. During the summers, I participated in internships in Los Angeles, working for Paramount Classics on the Paramount Studio Lot, and for a small production company, Set Apart Pictures, where I worked as an assistant editor on the Avid editing platform. After graduation I moved out to New York City where I became a Streaming Media Specialist at MLB.com. While at MLB.com I was able to cut my teeth using cutting edge technology while gaining knowledge of the industry\'s best practices for streaming media. Presently, I am the Senior Video Engineer for TED.com, where I am able to take my skillset and apply it to something I\'m very passionate about, ideas worth spreading. Specialties: Audio/Video Streaming, Audio/Video Encoding, Video Broadcasting Standards - SD and HD of NTSC, PAL, SECAM.
