With my role as in-house legal consultant, I perform commercial reviews of tender documentation for pricing and decision making purposes; Negotiation and drafting of upstream and downstream contracts ranging in value from £100k to >£150m including customer facing pre-contract negotiations with public and blue-chip clients; Procurement of critical sub-contract packages (particularly design packages on D&B contracts and management of the PI Insurance risks related to these packages); Identification and escalation of key business risk areas; Providing tender and contract management support throughout the contract lifecycle;Advising on standard form construction contract mechanisms particularly NEC, ICC, FIDIC and JCT; Engagement in tender hand-over process; Negotiation and procurement of project performance security and other corporate documents; Providing legal assistance and dispute management assistance to senior managers and directors; Key supply chain management with a focus on building and maintaining stakeholder relationships; Monitoring and continuous review of commercial document suite to ensure compliance with new legislation, internal company policy, market fluctuations and procurement strategies; Contract and post-contract review;
