ABOUT AIMIEE YOUNG

Last year, I began working as a family law paralegal at Milners Solicitors, handling private law matters. By working at Milners, I have been provided with various opportunities to learn alongside other family law professionals and grow in terms of my personal and professional development. For example, engaging in client interactions, drafting legal documents, being involved in negotiations, attending court, learning new ways to advocate for clients and networking with other legal professionals. Furthermore, not only has my knowledge of the law been heightened but I have learnt how to effectively apply the law on a case by case basis. I am eager and passionate to qualify as a family law solicitor. I am motivated to support families going through the toughest times of their lives and help them navigate the legal challenges with compassion and expertise. Throughout my legal experience, I have developed a deep understanding of the complexity of the law and how daunting it can be for the ordinary person. I am committed to provide support and guidance to those who need it most. Ultimately, I have learnt the importance of empathy and fostering relationships with clients alongside creating a safe environment. This has enabled me to tailor my legal advice and solutions to meet their unique needs and circumstances. I strive to make a positive impact on clients’ lives and contribute meaningfully within the industry by increasing the accessibility to those who seek legal assistance.
