ABOUT AHMED HANAFY
Ahmed Hanafy, MB ChB, MSc, PhD, FRCP (London), MRCP (UK)(Endocrine and Diabetes), CCT (Diabetes and Endocrinology) I am a Consultant Endocrinologist currently working in James Cook University Hospital. My special interest areas are Type 1 diabetes technology, antenatal diabetes care, and neuroendocrinology. I have extensive experience in medical education and training. I am continuously involved in junior doctors and medical students teaching. I have delivered teaching sessions using different mediums/techniques (e.g, clinical/bedside, formal and informal, and online/virtual) to various audiences (medical students, junior doctors, post-graduate medical professionals, advanced nurse practitioners). I am a tutor at the University of South Wales and did online tutoring for one of their endocrine modules.
