The Center for Ecoliteracy advances systems change initiatives in TK–12 schools to support sustainable school communities. Our programming serves students and the people who nourish them in classrooms, cafeterias, and gardens. We focus on (1) ecological education,(2) school food systems, and (3) policy and advocacy. The Director of Development is a key member of the Center\'s leadership team and sees donors as valuable partners in the mission of the organization. In this role, I bring a strategic view of donor cultivation and the skills and the experience to develop and implement a relationship-based philanthropy strategy, leading with authenticity and humility through all stages of donor management from prospecting to stewardship. I track philanthropic trends and work with the senior leadership team to engage them in targeted fundraising activities. I also help guide board expansion and management, and work closely with program leads and consultants.
