MathWorks is the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists. Engineers and scientists worldwide rely on our products to accelerate the pace of discovery, innovation, and development. Based in the Cambridge, UK office and working as part of the EMEA Human Resources team, I am primarily responsible for taking ownership of our internship, graduate, and early careers recruitment across Europe, hiring into the Cambridge-based programme. Working with universities, societies, partners, and the STEM network across Europe to attract, recruit, and retain such talent. I integrate diversity hiring into our strategy and continuously look for ways we can do better.Another key area I take ownership for is our summer internship engagement programme, including creating and managing a calendar of events, content, and activities throughout the summer to showcase our culture, and hopefully lead interns to accept returning offers. Having specialised within STEM Graduate Recruitment since 2019, I am passionate about attracting, engaging, and hiring top student & early careers talent for MathWorks, the leading developer of mathematical computing software for engineers and scientists. As the sole UK Graduate Programme & Early Careers Recruiter, I am fully responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates for our Cambridge graduate/early careers programme and internships; partnering with key stakeholders, hiring managers, and the wider HR team. I also manage our strategy and planning for on-campus events, career fairs, and partnerships with universities and student organisations. The two biggest passions of mine include ensuring we deliver on the best candidate experience possible, and achieving diversity within the team. Since starting with MathWorks, I have been responsible for seeing the team double in size and ensuring new processes undertaken are scalable going forward. I\'m very much driven by the mission of MathWorks in accelerating the pace of engineering and science, and ensuring we attract and retain candidates who share this vision!
