ABOUT AIMÉE DUSHIME

Over the past 7 years, I’ve lived and worked in Nairobi, Kigali, Lagos, Mumbai, New York, and London, advising clients and supporting transactions across the full deal cycle including deal sourcing, deal structuring and execution, financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, and post deal support. My sector experience includes consumer goods, energy, financial services, healthcare, and public infrastructure.🧭 That journey began early, growing up around my family’s business, where I spent school breaks observing how money was made, spent, and managed. That exposure sparked an interest in how businesses work, leading me to study finance, qualify as an ACCA, and begin my career in tax, before transitioning into Deal Advisory and Private Equity. I’ve since completed an MBA (Finance) at University of Oxford and am currently a CFA Level II candidate. Outside of work, I volunteer with the Global Shapers Community (World Economic Forum), where I mentor high school students exploring careers in investment and lead financial literacy workshops for underserved communities. In my spare time, I enjoy playing tennis, hiking, and exploring new cities. I’ve visited 80+ countries, each one challenging how I see the world and helping me stay curious, open, and adaptable.
