Assist in the development and maintenance of Citywide recordkeeping program. Assist in implementing and maintaining Citywide Forms Management, Business Essential Record Protection, and Imaging Programs. Appraise and evaluate records for administrative, fiscal, legal, historical and research value.Conduct off-site records assessments at City facilities. Oversee efforts to comply with new legislation regarding public records. Assist in the coordination of Records Committee and Records Coordinator meetings. Assist in the implementation of Records Committee directives. Assist in the development and maintenance of the municipal archives including appraisal, description, arrangement, preservation, and organization in compliance with archival standards and best practices. Assist in the development of promotional materials for municipal archives and coordinate with external historical resource organizations to promote materials in municipal archives. Act as liaison between City departments and the Archives and Records Division. Create reference materials and maintain and update the City Records Retention Manual, Recordkeeping Manual, and various records references to include all policies, procedures, and directives. Provide technical guidance, support, and information on all aspects of the City recordkeeping program to determine the most effective way of meeting the records needs of management, staff, and customers. Provide direction in establishing records access security levels. Provide training to program users on all aspects of records management, including the Public Records Act. Develop all training material, including online training. Assist with the administration of document management/records management systems. Maintain records management classification scheme. Use of Contact Henderson, Simple, OnBase, Energov, Digital Reel, Kofax, Bluebook, SharePoint, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Adobe, and the Internet.
