About Aimee Brown

I am an experienced education professional with 10+ years in university, community college, and college access. I currently am the Director of a Title Strengthening Institutions Program Grant, a five-year institutional change grant from the Department of Education. As a result, I have significant expertise in project management (PMP certified), grant management, budgeting, supervision of employees, data-driven decision making and change management. I\'m passionate about creating systems that support student success, eliminate barriers and promote equity, diversity and inclusion.

   Provided project management for the Title grant, an institutional change grant from the department education- Managed five different budgets including a $1.2 million state allocation budget,$2.2 million federal budget, and private donor budgets- Supervised a team of staff and students- Oversaw the creation of the content of 60+ pathway maps and collaborated with a web team to launch a new web based tool, receiving recognition from the League for Innovations - Compiled and submitted reports to the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges and Department of Education- Used data driven decision making to lead Guided Pathways work, institutional change work focused on student voice and equity to lead to meaningful, sustainable change- Collaborated with stakeholders across the college, district, and state to ensure grant objectives were met
