ABOUT AIMEE BERGER
I\'ve been involved with education and digital technologies for almost 30 years, beginning my teaching career in 1995 under a Daedalus grant to assess \"the impact of computer-mediated communications\" on student outcomes in college writing courses. Since then, I\'ve held a variety of positions, on and off campus, aimed at improving the experiences and success rates of both teachers and learners. One of the primary advantages afforded by responsible use of digital technologies in any context is provision of data to inform decisions. My own decision-making is data-driven, and I encourage faculty and administrators with whom I work to let data be their guide as well, shaping purposeful teaching & learning interventions as well as adaptations to instructional practice; creation of assessment instruments; course redesign and curriculum revision. Skilled in translation of objectives to measurable outcomes, I rely on my background in project management and design thinking to design, test and analyze performance in rich learning and development environments that draw on the principles of learning science and adult learning theory.I am a leader who excels in identifying and developing talent; building strongly collaborative teams; managing complex projects and facilitating communication with and among diverse stakeholders.
