ABOUT AIMEE PERRY

I’m a passionate and committed Business Development Manager at Family Gateway, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families from disadvantaged backgrounds across the North East. My work focuses on breaking down barriers and empowering long-term, generational change.With over 10 years’ experience in the charity sector, I bring a strong background in frontline delivery, operations, and leadership. My expertise spans mental and physical wellbeing, family support, and early intervention for children, young people, and families.In my current role, I lead on income generation, funder engagement, strategic partnerships, and oversee our communications and social enterprise activity. Over the past two years, I’ve successfully built and nurtured funding relationships, developed impactful collaborations, and supported the creation of diverse projects within our Health, Education, and Wellbeing portfolio.I’m driven by purpose and motivated by the opportunity to grow within the sector. I’m always keen to connect with like-minded professionals and organisations to create meaningful partnerships that lead to sustainable impact.
