About Aimee Mandala

In 2021, I had the honor of being awarded \"Outstanding Business Woman of 2021\" for the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce\'s Women\'s Business Council. Being an active contributor of both my company an my community is vital to my happiness and success. I support my staff, company goals and enjoy being a part of the puzzle that takes something from idea to the built environment of Long Beach and the surrounding areas. With a family tradition in architecture that stems back four generations, I, from a very early age was exposed to and surrounded by the business of the industry. It\'s second nature to me. My position as Chief Operating Officer for Environ Architecture began in 2018, but I have played many different roles and worn many hats within the company since in 2007 managing everything from Finance to Human Resources to Marketing and Administration and Business Development. In 2019, I spearheaded converting Environ Architecture to a Certified Green Business with the City of Long Beach. In addition to my work at Environ, I have served on the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce Women’s Business Council Board since 2012, was elected Vice President of Programs for 20••••16, and then President for the 20••••17 fiscal year. I currently sit on the WBC Board as the Nominating Committee Chair. Most recently I have joined the Downtown Long Beach Alliance\'s Marketing and Communications Committee and was invited to participate on their Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access Steering Committee. I have a seat on the Board for the CSULB Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship as their fundraising co-chair. In February 2022, I was appointed co-chair of the Long Beach Sustainable Business Network, an organization I have been a member of since 2018.Specialties: Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional Certified Design Firm AdministratorAnd because I like to tap into my creative side, I am an accomplished professional artist, curator and writer.
