I am a Public Health professional currently working in academic publishing, I am involved in strategic journal growth and content commissioning in the health portfolio. I was previously a regional migration health consultant for the IOM (UN Migration Agency) and USAID with focus on policy research, intergovernmental relations, and project evaluation in the ASEAN region. I graduated from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine with distinction, my academic focus was in health promotion, health economics, infectious diseases epidemiology, and humanitarian health issues. I also have clinical work experience as dental surgeon and public health dentist in a low-resource setting in Malaysia.
