Aimee is responsible for building and understanding relationships between LMCIT and its member cities and officials. She acts as a facilitator, mediator, and coach in advancing sustainable resolution of matters of public interest, broad use of mediation, effective collaboration and conflict management, and dispute resolution in local government. Her work incluldes:• Provides collaborative public policy dispute resolution and public engagement services to reduce the likelihood of litigation and conflict in local government.o Improves local government operations, through things like mediation conferences, collaborative facilitation workshops, conflict coaching, and specialized workshops. o Provides in-person and virtual mediation services to members who desire effective means to resolve interpersonal conflict. o Provides leadership and conflict coaching services to help members understand communication styles, communicate with greater impact and influence, think more strategically, and delegate more effectively. o Researches, develops, refines, and evaluates specific member relations services, programs, and events to further enhance engagement in the collaborative process.o Collaborates with members, city attorneys, members of the public, and other outside organizations to strengthen relationships and build the collaboration program. o Develops and delivers presentations focused primarily on collaborative processes and legal issues at local and national conferences and training events.

Thirty years of experience as a mediator & facilitator for complex issues with multiple parties, managing mediation programs, and designing & providing adult education in conflict resolution topics. Specialty in organizational conflict assessment and strategy. Aimee serves on the U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution National Roster of Environmental Dispute Resolution and Consensus Building Professionals, MN Department of Special Education ADR Panel, as a lead faculty member for MN CLE\'s court certified Civil Mediation Skills course, and was the MN Supreme Court ADR Ethics Board\'s Consultant.
