   Grace Centers of Hope (GCH), formerly Pontiac Rescue Mission, founded in 1942, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Christian organization, centered around Grace Gospel Fellowship Church, committed to positively changing the lives of the unwanted, addicted, and homeless through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, personal accountability, life skills education, and work-related programs. • Reporting to the CEO, direct all fiscal activities for the organization with a current annual budget of $8M; providing financial analysis, consultation and decision support to help carry out the mission of GCH • Manage and develop the Assistant Director of Finance and Accounting Clerk • Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, reported and presented quarterly to the Board of Directors • Provide additional financial analysis and reporting to management, fostering an environment that leads to good stewardship of the organization’s resources • Responsible for all cash management functions, including strategic investment of endowment and other funds • Review and approve semi-monthly payroll prepared by the Human Resources Generalist • Lead the annual budget process and work closely with all other GCH Directors to manage the budget throughout the year • Prepare for and lead all aspects of the annual external audit and Form 990 preparation conducted by Plante Moran • Ensure optimal and appropriate insurance coverage for the organization with regular reviews of coverage and rates • Provide expertise and assistance to the organization in strengthening internal controls through process improvement initiatives, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures and effective internal communication • Maintain excellent external relationships with banks, auditors, insurance carriers and other GCH vendors and partners
