People and Culture Lead @hedgehog lab

Reporting into the COO, People and Culture Lead is a position encompassing HR ownership, Talent Acquisition & Culture Development. Employee satisfaction is at the centre of my role, it is my primary focus to increase engagement in the workplace in order to combat staff attrition and attract the best new talent in a rapidly moving tech marketplace. Key Achievements- Overhauled and streamlined company policies and processes, including on and off boarding, to ensure maximum efficiency and legal compliance are achieved- Implementation of monthly staff engagement surveys, applying the data to internal decisions ensuring we maintain a high level of employee satisfaction- Supporting the Senior Management Team with all People matters, coaching them through performance related issues and advising on L&D for themselves and their teams- Creation and implementation of all people initiatives, including pioneering the company Diversity, Equality and Inclusion strategy for the business- Owning our in-house Talent Acquisition strategy and company talent attraction campaign, aiming to successfully hire and on-board 26 new starters in 2022- Partnered with education providers, running PR events such as BIMA Digital Day to increase awareness of Tech careers and promote the business- Obtained a Great Place to Work award for the company - 91% of our employees rated us as a Great Place to Work- Responsible for internal communications surrounding business and culture updates- Collaborating with the Marketing Lead to promote hedgehog lab as an inclusive destination employer by participating in blog posts, marketing campaigns and promotional videos- Successful ownership and coordination of all company events such as Christmas and Summer parties, strategy days for internal staff and external client visits and charity fundraisers both in person and virtually.
