As a scientific leader passionate about innovation, I focus on developing and scaling high-throughput molecularbiology workflows that support cutting-edge research and diagnostics. My work blends hands-on expertise inNGS, automation, and bioinformatics with strategic leadership and collaboration across cross-functional teams.At Ginkgo Bioworks, I led the onboarding of PacBio sequencing and contributed to expanding our internal capabilities by developing and automating NGS workflows on Illumina,Nanopore and Element biosciences platforms. These workflows include short and long-read DNA sequencing, metagenomics sequencing assays, amplicon sequencing, and whole-genome sequencing. I’m proudto contribute to projects that drive real impact including supporting tens of thousands of samples daily,improving efficiency, and expanding our ability to deliver high-quality data at scale.Whether optimizing protocols (SOPs), mentoring teammates, or collaborating with global partners to transfertechnology and knowledge, I strive to combine scientific rigor with practical solutions that scale. I enjoy thechallenge of building systems that are not only robust and accurate, but also user-friendly and efficient.I’ve successfully collaborated on global public health initiatives, notably leading on-site technology transfer andtraining for international genomics labs.
