ABOUT AILEEN LALOR

I am the Senior Lifestyle Editor for Flipboard, a content discovery platform, where I curate content for newsletters and in-app featuring, work on social media with an emphasis on decentralized social, and liaise with our publisher partners. In my free time, I write about beauty, fashion and lifestyle for newsstand magazines and newspapers in Canada. I create sponsored content such as articles, blogposts and social media posts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn), for lifestyle and fashion brands. During my 20-year career, I have worked as an editor for leading fashion and beauty titles in Singapore, both on editorial and commercial projects. My previous work includes writing and copy-editing internal communications, marketing and HR titles and educational publishing. I am also experienced at proof-reading and fact-checking. Other skills include managing long- and short-term projects, managing editorial teams and freelancers, liaising with clients from multi-national brands, and budgeting.
