Aileen McDonald is a graduate student at William & Mary’s Batten School of Coastal and Marine Sciences at VIMS. Aileen plans to pursue a career in quantitative fisheries biology, helping to create new statistical models that show ecological changes based on climate and environmental stressors as well as policy changes. She intends to use models to represent the status of fish populations over time and show how possible changes to fisheries management may impact fishery systems.
