ABOUT AILEEN EVANS

Fundraising for @mindcharity. a CEO with a proven track record in delivering results and changing culture.I lead a brilliant team at GUHG and together we’re undertaking an ambitious transformation programme. We’ve consolidated the group to simplify governance and release more capacity to develop new homes. We invest in great people who we support in a range of ways to achieve their potential. Not least of these is the widespread cultural practice of coaching. I\'m experienced in influencing decision makers and politicians across the political spectrum. I write regularly for Inside Housing as one of IH50.I\'m an experienced and regular conference speaker (national conferences, political party conferences) I represented PlaceShapers at a DWP Select Committee Hearing, subsequently hosting a visit by the MPs on the committee so that they could get first hand experience to inform their work. I believe that organisations have a responsibility to report the impact of government policy on the ground using data and facts.I\'m energetic, committed and work hard to deliver great results in a complex operating environment.I\'m a member and very proud past President of the CIH. Throughout my CIH Presidency, I focussed on helping organisations start conversations about mental health. I have worked with partners to produce a mental health Commitment Guide for housing employers and a short guide to working with customers. I have also worked with De Montfort University who have produced a Well-being Guide for the housing sector - learning lessons from lockdown. In 2014, I co-founded the Shout campaign to make the economic case for building more properly affordable social housing. I believe everyone has a right to a good quality affordable home and I will keep campaigning for this until everyone has one. I’m also an NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and a qualified Coach (Association for Coaching accredited) and mentor. I’m a Fellow of the Royal Society of ArtsFollow me on Twitter @bushbell.
