ABOUT AIJA MOELLER
Aija Moeller is a Volunteer Programs Specialist II at the Project Management Institute (PMI). In this role, she plays a crucial part in developing and implementing key volunteer programs that support PMI\'s initiatives, programs, and services. Her efforts are focused on ensuring positive experiences for PMI volunteers, aligning with both current and future organizational needs. Upon joining PMI in September 2021, Aija began her journey as a member of the Global Chapter Programs team. Here, she contributed to strengthening chapter relationships globally, provided centralized support to regional chapter engagement teams, and also managed the global Chapter Awards program. Before her time at PMI, Aija held various positions at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Serving as both Senior Manager for Volunteer Engagement and Council of Alumni Association Executives (CAAE) Administrative Manager, she oversaw the operational services provided by CASE to chapters and partner organizations, offering comprehensive support in areas such as board management, member communications, and program promotion. She also served as a liaison between headquarters and volunteer leaders, ensuring smooth transitions during organizational governance changes. Outside of her professional roles, Aija remains an active volunteer leader, engaging with multiple organizations that support heritage, art, and culture. Her commitment to volunteerism underscores her passion for giving back to her community and making a positive impact beyond her professional endeavors.
