ABOUT AIJALON MUHAMMAD
As a Spelman student, I have effectively made my choice to change the world. In my pursuit of becoming the first physician in my family, I\'ve developed a deep passion for medicine. Connecting with patients and witnessing the progression in their health has been my favorite aspect of working in the clinical setting. I believe that everyone, especially minority communities, deserves healthcare providers that are not only knowledgeable but compassionate. The world is in need of more doctors who truly care for people of all diverse backgrounds. Therefore, it is my goal to provide adequate healthcare to people in these underrepresented communities. During my experiences in public health research, clinical shadowing, and mentoring, I have flourished into a skilled and multifaceted scholar. I am excited and open to pursuing career-accelerating opportunities such as scientific research and clinical work that will further grow my skills and prepare me for a career in medicine.
