ABOUT AIDEN MUSCOVITCH
Aiden is a Parliamentary Intern for Michael Chong, Foreign Affairs Critic and Member of Parliament for Wellington–Halton Hills North. In this role, he supports communications strategy, contributes to research for parliamentary briefings, assists with committee work, and helps oversee the production of constituency materials, including the monthly householder. He also regularly shadows the MP in both parliamentary and constituency settings.Previously, Aiden served as Assistant Editor at The Hub Canada, one of Canada’s fastest-growing digital news media outlets, reaching over one million monthly users. He began working at The Hub at age 16 and worked directly under — and was personally mentored by — Sean Speer, Senior Fellow at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy and former Policy Advisor to Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and Rudyard Griffiths, Executive Director of The Hub Canada and Chair of the Munk Debates.Alongside Sean Speer’s Weekly Wrap, Aiden authored The Week in Polling, a weekly series that headlined The Hub’s Saturday edition and amassed hundreds of thousands of views. He wrote The Hub’s third-most-viewed article of 2025 and three of its top ten articles that year. One of his News Dispatches was featured in Politico Canada’s Weekly Playbook. He also led guest recruitment for the Hub Dialogues podcast, securing interviews with leading thinkers including Francis Fukuyama and Tyler Cowen, and sold over in corporate news subscriptions to major Canadian firms and Members of Parliament.Aiden also produced and published the Munk Debates’ weekly Friday Focus podcast, working closely with hosts Janice Gross Stein, Founding Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs, and Rudyard Griffiths.In spring 2024, Aiden was selected as one of 75 University of Toronto students admitted to the Ethics, Society and Law program at Trinity College. He was also one of nine undergraduate and postgraduate students chosen as a 2024 Summer Fellow at the Institute for Liberal Studies.In 2023, Aiden was one of 25 students worldwide selected to attend the University of Toronto’s Munk One first-year foundations program at the Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, where his team placed first in the program-wide case competition.Aiden is eager to connect with like-minded individuals in public policy, international affairs, space regulation, and related fields.
