About Aiden Lesser

Hey, my name\'s Aiden! I\'m an active duty Marine stationed on Camp Pendleton, CA, and concurrently a student at Arizona State University studying Mechanical Engineering. I’m eager to learn just about anything, with interests in finances, real estate, psychology, and marketing, but I’m especially fascinated by sciences, astronomy, biology, and engineering. My goal is to end up working as an astrophysicist / astrobiologist / astronautical engineer, learning and gaining as much experience as possible along the way. I always love to stay productive, challenge myself, and improve in any way possible, and I\'m excited to apply the intangible lessons and skills gained through the military to my career!

   2/4, Fox Company (2/2024-Present) –Support company in administrative roles, such as creating resource lists to help prepare Marines for post-military life. Assist Marines with starting college and Tuition Assistance set up. Accepted into Arizona State University online and began classes. Participated in Warrior-Scholar Project academic boot camp at MIT campus.1st MEF, MarDet. Philippines (10/2023-2/2024) –Assisted special operations command missions throughout the Philippines by handling security and administrative roles to ensure planned operations are conducted in a controlled manner. Guarded access to secured areas and protected classified material. Managed special operations equipment, document shredding, and room sanitization. Qualified on shotgun, machine gun, and conceal carry. Conducted armed convoys escorting U.S. personnel.2/4, 13th MEU (11/2022-6/2023) –Deployment to 7 countries, conducting trainings with 5 foreign militaries, maintaining readiness and serving as a crisis response force. Awarded Meritorious Unit Commendation for actions over deployment. Conducted over 20 air assault operations aboard V-22 Osprey’s and CH-53 Sea Stallion’s. Participated in Operation Cobra Gold with Thai military.2/4, ITX (6/2022) –Participated in the Integrated Training Exercise at Twentynine Palms, CA, conducting several live-fire training exercises consisting of rifles, rockets, machineguns, mortars, and artillery. Coordinated with several assets including combat engineers, artillery Call for Fire’s, and Casualty Evacuations. Employed rifle suppression and rockets successfully to assist the company while conducting attacks simulating war.2/4, Fox Company (9/2021-10/2022) – Selected as Anti-Armor Marine and trained to employ the SMAW and AT4 rocket systems, and Combat Metal Detector. Graduated from Small Unmanned Aircraft System Drone Pilot course. Received Tactical Casualty Combat Care and Combat Life Saver training, and non-lethal OC spray training.
