ABOUT AIDEN BROWN
I’m a sophomore computer science and cognitive science double major at Vassar College with an elective path in formal analysis and modeling. I seek to synthesize knowledge from both degrees to understand if and how human cognition can be modeled computationally.I am skilled in software design and implementation, data structures and algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP) with Java as well as functional programming with OCaml. Additionally, I can perform statistical analysis using R and am knowledgeable on the many different approaches to cognition.This upcoming Summer I am seeking research opportunities where I am able to apply and further my knowledge of computer science and cognitive science. I am particularly interested in research opportunities involving developing or evaluating different forms of AI and modeling minds.
