About Aiden Brion

I\'m currently studying engineering mechanics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, slated to graduate in May 2026. During internships at Grede Holdings LLC and Pregis, I contributed to installing Vertical Turning Centers and led optimization projects, including significant cost savings from resin density research and implementing efficient bag segregation processes. Outside of academics and work, I\'ve founded an SAE Aerospace club at UW Madison, where we\'re focused on designing and competing with an RC plane. I\'m also expanding my skills in Ansys, SolidWorks, and Star-CCM+. With a strong foundation in problem-solving and innovation, I\'m excited to apply my experiences to future engineering endeavors.

   Founded and built a student team to design and fly RC aircraft- Recruited 35+ members by showcasing our 5-foot model plane at club fairs- Secured 6 sponsorships to fund materials, tools, and competition costs- Led the design and construction of a 5-foot scale model and an 11-foot full competition plane using balsa wood, aluminum, foam, Monokote, and electronics- Built and maintained the team website to handle outreach, FAQs, and interest forms- Guided hands-on training with tools like laser cutters, mills, and lathes for custom parts- Organized meetings, delegated responsibilities, and kept the team aligned through build milestones and flight readiness
