ABOUT AIDA S.

All my experiences and roles so far have invigorated me to learn and advance my skills in the domain of management, and also in teamwork, planning, organizing, and leadership. I am self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about excelling in everything I do. ‍ My fondness for understanding the way people think led me to earn a BSc Honors degree in Management and Human Resources from Lancaster University, a top 10 university in the UK. With the focal point of my education being people and organizational management, I also studied Project Management, Entrepreneurship, and Psychology, in addition to courses like \'Ethical Responsibility in Business\',\'Organizational Change Management\', and \'Management & the Natural Environment: Ethics and Sustainability\'. I received the two most prestigious awards at Lancaster University for demonstrating brilliance in overall performance. My studies and experience in my undergrad entrenched within me a resolve to create meaningful impact, which inspired me to pursue a research-based MSc degree in Environmental Sustainability at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) in British Columbia, Canada. TRU is 1 of only 10 universities in the world to have achieved the STARS platinum ranking for sustainability, along with Stanford, Cornell, UCLA, and UC Berkeley. I satiate my penchant for learning by consistently breaking my own boundaries and challenging myself. Recently, I completed a university level course on Business Statistics from Straighterline, and over 3 months, I sharpened my ability to think analytically in order to deliver practical solutions, with the application of statistical tools such as hypothesis testing, probability and sampling methods, ANOVA, and regression analysis. Yo también dedico un poco de tiempo a aprender Español todos los días! Prior to Australia, I have lived in the United Kingdom, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and briefly in India. I\'m a frequent traveler; I\'ve been to 20+ countries where I\'ve witnessed the varying degrees of development, lifestyles, and work ethos. This has widened my horizons and made me more culturally aware and informed.
