I counsel executives and corporate boards on mission-critical issues impacting their brand, bottom line, and license to operate. My expertise includes crisis management, litigation and legal affairs, geopolitical issues, workforce issues and employee experience, and reputational risk mitigation. As Senior Vice President and Crisis + Issues lead for North America at We. Communications, I\'ve counseled companies from Fortune 10s to unicorn startups through bet-the company litigation, business and shareholder disputes, labor relations and corporate campaigns, environmental crises, data breaches, corporate espionage, sexual abuse and misconduct, high-profile government investigations, DE & I and cultural transformation, and geopolitical risk management. I also have experience in guiding clients through leadership transitions, private funding rounds, executive Congressional testimony, rebranding, and other critical events in the life of a company. I regularly provide expert commentary to media outlets on crisis management, reputation risks, and the business of law. Recognitions include PRWeek\'s 40 Under 40 (2025) and Lawdragon\'s Top 100 Global Leaders in Strategy & Consulting (2022).Highlights include- Acting as spokesperson for the trustees of an elite research university during a high-stakes investigation- Preparing a tech CEO for a Congressional committee hearing (including authoring testimony) that led to the passage of the $52B CHIPS Act- Guiding a global financial company through the announcement of a multibillion-dollar fine and rare corporate guilty plea tied to the resolution of DOJ and SEC investigations- Helping defend a $6B federal contract from legal challenges and political attacks- Helping to secure major investments for workers while avoiding reputation-damaging conflict in collective bargaining In addition to my work in the corporate world, I am a writer, filmmaker, and publisher.
