Completed a 12 week research internship, which cumulated with a final presentation of my individual project, The Effect of Access to Education on Diabetes Treatment Adherence. Throughout the 12 weeks, I participated in a weekly Journal Club, where my peers and I conducted analyses on published research papers as well as interviewed clinicians of our choice to round out our experience in all facets of a hospital setting. Alongside this, I was able to participate in 100+ hours of shadowing experience in a wide variety of practices such as complex primary care, brain injury, general rehab, infant/toddler, and chronic illness management.
