Envisage Capital Management is a small equity hedge fund that focuses on distressed companies. My internship at Envisage Capital encompasses many facets of portfolio investment and equity research. I develop and maintain detailed financial projections, valuation assessments based on discounted cash flow, modeling, and comparable analysis. I give presentations based on my assessment and risk analysis of pre-assigned public companies to managers at weekly roundtables, and work in small teams on industry research projects. I research historical equity market returns based on starting valuation levels and have gained valuable experience reviewing public filings, earnings calls, company presentations, industry periodicals, and other information sources. My work setting is motivated and energetic, and attention to detail, excellent writing skills, and teamwork is stressed. My skills in financial accounting and financial modeling, as well as PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word are employed in my role. I also interned at Envisage Capital in the summer of 2023.
